Remove old tires from shop

Assist technicians when needed

Pick up parts and deliver vehicles

Perform all duties of a Process Operator, as well as the duties associated with the Lead Process Technician position
Ensure all employees practice safe work habits and wear the required PPE as outlined in the Employee Handbook and by the EHS Department
Document safety incidents/accidents by completing an Injury Report and communicate to Operations Manager and Process Coach immediately
Under the direction of the Process Coach, assign operators to work stations, help staff overtime demand. Organize break schedules and fill-in for operators as needed
Identify and assist in development of training aids as needed
Provide operator training and guidance on Processing/Mixing processes and equipment
Ensure batching/processing is accomplished to specifications on assigned shift
Perform minor maintenance, set up and troubleshooting on equipment
Assist Process Coach with facilitation of shift transition meetings
Set an example for department employees by demonstrating leadership skills and work energy
Awareness of production schedule to insure materials are available to produce with minimal line downtime. Assist department Soap Process Resource to organize and maintain materials
Insure production entries are up to date in GP
Ensure critical process parameters are within specifications
Inform Operations Manager and/or Process Coach of any concerns with reference to personnel or disciplinary issues and provide documentation as needed
Coordinate changeovers with the Finishing Department, and be in charge of changeover tracking for assigned shift
Enter work requests, and assist maintenance as needed. Track and coordinate quarterly housekeeping needs on assigned shift.
Complete various and special projects as assigned
Ensure a high level of housekeeping is maintained within the Department
Maintain all cGMP guidelines at all times (i.E., no food or drink, etc.)

BASIC MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Meet the legal minimum age requirement
Authorized to work in the United States
High school diploma or equivalent with significant mathematical emphasis
1 year previous processing experience
2 years leadership/supervisory experience

OTHER REQUIRED SKILLS:
High level of initiative and ability to plan activities in advance
Mechanical aptitude
Fork lift operation
Demonstrated good judgment
Ability to work independently, relying on self-motivation and direction
Ability to process information and apply appropriate methods of operation in a processing environment
Ability to use a logical thought process
Ability and desire to function in a team environment
Ability to interact with others in a polite and cordial manner

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:
3 years experience in a chemical processing environment
1 year forklift operations

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to work in temperature extremes, both hot and cold
Working with chemicals (including fragrance fumes)
Working outside for 2-3 hours at a time
Lifting up to 50 pounds
Ability to stand and move around the majority of the day
Ability to climb ladders and work at heights

Work Hrs: 1st Shift - 7am to 330pm / 2nd Shift - 3pm to 1130pm / 3rd Shift 11pm to 730am

Pay Range: $43-45k DOE plus comprehensive benefits.

  • A solid knowledge of tool holders, cutters and other items used on the equipment is required.

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Previous Management/Supervisor experience in a manufacturing environment
Exposure to Lean Manufacturing methods is a big plus; 5S, Six Sigma, TPS, etc.
Needs excellent problem solving skills
Custom Cabinetry experience preferred
Stock cabinet experience preferred
Must be able to schedule and coordinate daily and weekly activities
Must be able to communicate effectively in writing

Job Duties:
Reviews customer requests for warranty to ascertain cause for request, type of malfunction and customer address.
Investigates customer problems and finds solutions. Handles major incidents that cannot be resolved by staff. Resolves complaints and order issues.
Analyzes data and statistics.
Isolates and identifies areas of improvement. Trains agents on how to adequately address problems over the phone or how to write correspondence.
Drives accountability for root cause analysis and implementation of processes to minimize future incidents and maximize sustainability.
Prepares schedules for personnel, assigns personnel to quote, data entry, proof and price dealer orders, including sample requests, warranty requests, display drawings, custom drawings and product information.
Keeps records of KPI for data entry, customer service and quotes.
Directly supervises 6 to 12 employees in Customer Service.
Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization s policies and applicable laws.
Responsible for interviewing, hiring and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; and, addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Proficient computer skills, including Outlook, Sales Logic, Excel and Microsoft Word.
