Maintenance /Facility Manager
Seeking Maintenance/Facility Manager with 6+ years of experience to manage and assist in the completion of the day-to-day activities, involving the maintenance of the building/facility, equipment and machinery including HVAC, building lighting systems, CNC machines, plate product production lines, ovens, grounds keeping, security and overall facility appearance. Supervise and coordinate the work of employees who repair and maintain building/facility, equipment and machinery.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Prepare work schedules, assign work, and oversees the work product (while minimizing overtime and call-in hours).
Coach, counsel and manage performance of direct reports.
Develop and maintain Preventive Maintenance Schedule program for applicable equipment and machinery.
Arrange for and manage, appropriate third-party contractor support, as needed.
Prepare budgets and secure estimates and cost quotes as needed.
Enforce sound safety and housekeeping practices.
All other reasonable duties, as assigned.
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Demonstrated mechanical and electrical knowledge and repair abilities.
Ability to manage multiple complicated priorities/tasks.
Exhibit strong judgment and decision-making skills.
Ability to interface with all types of mechanical and construction contractors.
Knowledgeable in all phases of construction and building maintenance.
Successful completion of an accredited management training program a plus
Job Qualifications and Education
High school/trade school diploma required.
Previous supervisory experience desirable.
Requires a minimum of 6 years related experience.
Certified in OSHA programs and practices.
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions
Able to walk up stairs. Ability to work flexible schedule, including some evenings and weekends. Employee is subject to outside environmental conditions occasionally; inside conditions frequently, with protection from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature change.
