The Sales & Business Development Manager is responsible for maintaining and building upon existing revenue in designated sales territory. The primary focus of this position is to bring new business to new and existing clients across North Kansas City Territory. Offering a generous base salary plus commission, based on sales performance.
Key Job Duties / responsibilities and accountabilities:
Exceed sales revenue quotas by winning new contracts and job orders through prospecting and developing new customer relationships.
Identify and qualify sale opportunities by providing a consultative and value-added approach to develop relationships. Negotiate contractual terms and conditions for employment services.
Liaison with Regional and National Sales Manager to define and develop lead generation strategies and marketing plans for new accounts to further penetrate existing accounts.
Develop and execute sales presentations, company service offerings, client consultation and development of proposals to potential clients.
Maintain an ongoing relationship with prospective clients, both in-person and by phone, to continuously assess and communicate how LSI can meet their needs.
Create proposals for providing staffing services, customized to prospective clients needs.
Develop and implement sales plans and associated activities.
Coordinate with the Recruiting & Operations Team to onboard new clients.
Manage all existing and new accounts in designated sales territory.
Attend training and educational sessions to initiate continued personal growth and develop relevant knowledge and skills.
Territory Cold Calling, Follow up Visits/Calls/Emails, One New Customer per week, Visitation of clients acquired.
Bachelor s degree or equivalent work experience or High School Diploma, plus one year sales experience.
Solid negotiation and presentation skills.
Ability to analyze industry trends and penetrate key client organizations across sales territory.
Must be comfortable with performing cold calls and delivering presentations.
Ability to identify prospective customers needs, propose solutions and convert prospects to clients.
Must possess an action and results driven attitude and be capable of developing a strong business case for client action and skills to close the sale.
